I broke the spell on my own, though its reach was far and wide
Even when you hid your face in your hands
I learned to sing louder
Until I had turned
The tide

I wondered if you ever thought of me or one kiss I gave to you
When you read all the words I wrote
Did they burn like pouring salt
Into an open wound
Of truth

I took a look at the coldest smile and found the warmest heart
Standing clear of the picture and its owner
Thought I broke the spell on my own
As I watched your fingers
Come apart

From a straight drop of a thousand feet, I found the spell’s ending
Then tried to hide my heart in my own hands
But you only learned to sing louder
Until you had become
My beginning

Nothing to fear,
Evenings so great,
When all the lights go out---

Yesterday just a small town girl & in
One moment a big city girl;
Running not walking;
K**eep on dreaming.

I went to New York and wrote this.
If you can tell me why the sea roars when staring at the moon
I will drink the essence of your different ways
Together we will find where the dish took the spoon
Live with fire in our eyes
All our days

If you can launch a ship that glides into wisdom’s harbor
I will sail along with you until the end of time
Together we will learn the secret of love’s nature
Live a life full of passion
So sublime

However, if you cannot tell me why the sea roars at the moon
Or launch a ship that will glide into wisdom’s harbor
Together our hearts can still learn how to sing in tune
In our own perfect harmony
Without answers

A calming silence can hold its own beauty as a guide
When nothing at all, seems quite right
With barely a look at those storms outside
Turning quickly into dust
In your sight

Winds may blow within your hair, startling your spirit
Until calming silence’s beauty you behold
Sprinkling you with a peace defined and delicate
Streaming wisps of serenity
Into your soul

Quite a message a calming silence brings to me
When nothing seems quite right
I barely look at those storms, you see
With all this peace streaming
Into my sight

Such beauty is found in the serenity of silence
Regardless of the winds that blow
My spirit is calmed in a definite balance
When silence streams into
My soul

A man,
never
become
empty,..
............
...that emptiness
is just, the pain of the soul.
Comes a scented melancholy rolling into love before the call
Never doubting your presence or mine
Idle talk acquires air which comes before a fall
Fading soon into the rapid hum
Of your departing spine

A resting phrase kissed half blind tears from scented wings
Burning them into our memories
Yet there was no sorrow, in or about anything
Or fear felt when you faded
Into the breeze

Ancient wisdom came to us, making us serenely aware
Of all the ripples rolling into our midst
We merely held on to the sweetness we shared
Knowing, those ripples would fade
No longer exist

Comes a scented cheerfulness rolling into our present
Never doubting your presence or mine
Those ripples have faded into love’s astonishment
Forever sending the sweetest chills
Up and down our spines

Twisted like vines
my mind wonders to other worlds
Post-apocolyptic society
No rules, No worries, No anxiety
Everyone does exactly what they please.

Along with my "crew"
we, the outcasts, rule.
WE are the untouchable.
WE are the untamable.
WE are the  unforgettable.

But oh! Who are you?
And why are you here?
You certainly are new to these parts my dear.

Now what shall we do?
Shall we lock you up?
You won't get out anytime soon.

Maybe, to spare you would be nice.
But WE remember your words,
and they were not at all kind.
Maybe you should think twice
before judging our so-called "sick" minds
that just happen to be twisted like vines.

I saw beauty in the world today

Heaven came to me to stay

I saw colours of every flower

I saw the majestic Oak tower

People greeted me with a smile

They chatted for a while

The sky shone a beautiful blue

The grass beneath my feet felt so true

The world laughed along with me

I am now feeling free
