The Gulf breeze telegraphing the wonderment of forest song with love
for all .. To the playful King Sun hiding behind the cloud bank to the
old gray Opossum hanging upside down , bluffing sleep on a lonesome Cherry branch .. Warm wishes fill my dreams while picking tea cups from a 'Story Tree' , each with a serving dish , hot refreshments and lively conversation with a well read ****** , a witty Fox , a Woodpecker poet and a guitar picking Catfish ..

The branches reach illogically  
Searching for order in woodland -
chaos
They're trimmed in leaves of blue , high above -

I am a living god born anew each second
Receiving my personal earth in tardy installments

Foolishly reaching into a rabbit box hurried for supper could
quite possibly turn you into a feral cats dinner !

My dreamscape bound in hawser ..

Proud sons , stubborn mules , afternoon steam fought its ******* of fresh turned earth and clay , the tedium of harrow and harness ..
Time alone beneath hardwood with Bible , fig , the covenant of God and man. The relaxing sun would mark the close of day ..

Refracted images from pools of standing water , tall people and fast cars passing wet crossroads , in this rural , sleepy village I call home . Cirrus hope and reminders that follow rainy yesterdays , storms bound for the churning North seas , to the cliffs of an Irish village later in the week ? To the vineyards of France then off to a Mediterranean beach .. From simple beginnings grow immense dreams indeed ..

I recognize abandonment , sad countenance disguised in guarded solemnity , for we both vision a world thru familiar , hopeless eyes .....

On the day contact is made we will be
harvested like worms to supply an ever continuous
" galactic fishing trip*" ...

Young writer , I implore you to write about every emotion that's gripping your thoughts , write it out exactly , for God's sake please forget ambiguous ******* about your work rhyming , punctuation or any such thoughts ! These things come in time , what truly matters is what you feel inside !! If you paint a Zebra and try to pass it off as a horse the oldies on this sight will most certainly pick it up ! Writing from the heart will shine like the full Moon , pompously scribbling prose like a jack *** will tell on you , very , very soon !!

Close your eyes , muffle your ears and your one
true companion will soon appear ....

Time for pecan divinity and sassafras tea , for golden garland decorating mantel-shelves , hand stitched doilies and holiday serviettes , candlesticks , candy canes and peppermints .. German nutcrackers and Christmas tales , warm wine and sleigh bells* ...

To catch my reflection in the afternoon light
The hunt for bullfrog , crawdaddy and catfish -
on rain cooled twilights
Soaring herons
From pileated perches Zachary's tree frogs mourn
Maestro cricket and katydid harmonies -
along familiar field roads
Fog enveloped dales
Blackberry trails
Evening wind song
White pine , sweet gum and persimmon
borders
Barn owl , hound dog curiosity
A border storm in white fanged -
ferocity...

A hollow point bullet  , fired , rifled through barrel , targeting steel resolve , fragmenting , striking ten combatants with one fatal shot ! A wood canoe with confident oarsman , fighting thirty foot ocean swells , hurricane winds and storm surge ! Swan dive over Horseshoe Falls , disappearing within the rocks , returned to the surface laughing , emboldened and unharmed ! Pressure cooker explosives , detonated beside large crowds with zero injuries , homicidal schizophrenic empties his magazine in a theater with no casualties ! Random killing in the name of religion with just cause , fundamental rationality ! Convincing people to try compassion , tolerance and moderation ! Forgetful , carefree , unharmed , thankful citizens impinged , ***** by the three percent , courtesy of Wall Street !

Honey bear worked his way up the ladder ...I was his "hole" ..The final resting place for trash and thoughts better left alone .An alternative to ******* one might say ....A dart board to practice on at the end of a "hard day ."  A trophy attached to his right arm stored in a briefcase like pencils and paper . A deflective device for use in corporate mandatory appearances ! A Certificate of Achievement hung over the fireplace ! There was a gardener , pool man , pest control tech and me ! The ******* ! A ***** paid to mingle with the girls at Starbucks , hand out hymn books on Sunday mornings at ten o'clock ...Xanax , Ambien and Vistaril . I've taken all the artificial mood enhancers , anxiety and depression pills ... Eight a.m. ****** Mary's , Gin on the rocks at high noon ! A smile on my face with a spare in my purse , American made ,  miserable alcoholic live- in Nurse !
