The random shower teases the imagination -
with thoughts of melancholy Gods
Stardust trapped in rain drops , colliding -
with earth
Amassing , expanding , cutting a path -
through black granite , flint and pink marble
Demanding the ocean on a collision course
with high mountains , enveloping the valley -
floor with wholesale anger and destruction
Redefining the mantle of the world with sheer power .. Fear not , for it's merely a timid January shower* .. :)

'Twas a time in my life when the -
moon was a dab of wet paint waiting to be -
artistically expressed ..
Georgia red clay filled the hands of a 'potter to be'
When a pool of rainwater and a leaf -
became a clipper ship on the treacherous
sea* ..

Avian flautist perform in golden canopies , dandelion fairies ride -
springtide breezes high above a meandering , rushing , brown water symphony
The dance of the Blue darters , of the iridescent pirouetting ballet , the birth of a thousand greenwood songs , nature delivering her poetic morning alms
I lie in repose , filled and intoxicated
In burgeoning sunlight , within magnificent shadow , in the centerpiece of living , ever expanding shape and hue* ...

My calamity awaits just beyond -
a sky of blue
Beneath sugar frosted pastures
In hardwood arbors of great beauty -
and rapture
Under the skin of a soothing , nurturing -
muse , January in the house of June
A crystalline tributary denied the ocean
An acquaintance desperately in search of devotion* ...

Record my love like a child , upon asphalt avenues in a medium of chalk .. For I was soapstone when I walked the earth .. Fragile , susceptible to change , prone to stormy weather and fleeting* ...

Good day Creek natives ,
commanding the brow -
of a centurion water oak
To parties gathering berries -
in the form of Whitetail does
To spearfishers in touch with
rushing waters , to windy woodland -
celebrations paying homage to -
Chieftain fathers
In the name of soft-shelled turtles -
exploring red clay flanks , to the ghosts of -
warriors protecting her riverbanks* ...
