If Michaelangelo,
Were alive today,
He would sculpt your svelte and lithe figure,
Into the finest Italian marble,
Marble that would last for ten thousand years,
So all men, from this day forward,
Would have the opportunity,
To perceive and envision,
That which only,
He and God could create.
She laughed at me,
Again.

Where words flow from the river of the mind like smooth rocks that fit perfectly in their beds, chiseled by the stream for a thousand years.

Where phrases fall from the sky in perfect and coherent mosaics of shadow colours between beams of murderous sunshine.

Where the beauty of a million lilies coalesce into one unbreakable leaf of immense colour and depth.

Where everything that falls, grows or flows cohere in the choir of the great magnet and its whims.

Where verbatim transcriptions of concepts are prevalent
This is where I wish to spend my time.

allow me to spill into your
fire-fed circle
like dust amidst our heap

let me live within
your deep

may your soul breathe full
against my brine
a fortress carelessly built
along the edges
of my spine
& may every touch I taste
coalesce
with blood and wine

may your eyes be my
beckoning
until all kingdoms come

& may all your
whispers
beneath my skin seep
through
& come undone

we
we are selcouth flower petals on plants that never considered their pots would be moved from their infinitesimal places on the windowsill
when the leaves brushed, a strange ebullience of euphoria erupted in misshapen fireworks displays
the radiance was blinding, but provided a pain that oddly pleasurable
vines amalgamate and coalesce still, twining together and combining with strangled whispers
amatory acts and emotions permeate the petrichor of distance, and the indefatigable thoughts continue strongly

I lose my mind in passing time
Absorbed by every fleeting find
Consumed by all the world outside;
Must make room for truth to hide
And coalesce into a ball of light
Within an otherwise vapid night
To suffer, flicker, falter, fight
To struggle, 'till, with all its might,
Truth bursts forth and blazons bright
My eyes un-glaze and flash with sight
      And every evasion ever tried
Is put to rest and laid aside
And every thought is of the kind
That leads to love and peace sublime.

We collided together as a cataclysmic collapse of black holes
                                                                                              two days ago.

The strings of space around us stretched into small circles that
tucked us inside of them to hide.

Nestled away from nights and days, transcending the time that was
   beginning to slow.

Humanity & sanity fell apart but we spun on as the planets caved inward,
                                safely residing on the inside.

We were a blur of cosmic smoke and stars swirling at the center of
                                                                 this crumbling universe.

Bright burgundy fire built from desire washed over the silent sky
radiating the shattered shards of our destruction.

Our blood vessels began to burst, our muscles torn from our
                                                            glowing bodies as we conversed.

We weaved ourselves in time, sunlight beaming from our eyes,
as everything began to connect again.

Slots were filled with pieces that had not belonged
shattered fragments placed along the outlines.

We became the blaze that lit up the center of the sky
filling it full of bright & warm color,
we were infinitely entwined as each other's lovers.

i hear springs creak
underneath the weight
of hips working together

where lips begin
parting over
heating flesh

fingers desperately
grasp for something
to hold in all sound

until both bodies
tremble and mold
into one.

i think we still exist
somewhere in the universe
behind the sun
where all of earth’s abandoned
soulmates go to rest
i think i can see us
when i look up at the sky
and squint directly into
the rays of light,
your brown eyes burning
into mine

i think we are together
in the time that trails behind
the present, dancing
in circles until the last stars
fizzle out

i think that our promises
seeped into the soil, like
february rain, our souls sown
together, tucked in
beneath the world

i think what we had is
somewhere just out of reach,
pulsing in the dim spaces
between heat lightning

and although, in this lifetime,
we became nothing but shadows,
monsters that linger on bedroom walls

we are there, we are alive,
and we are still in love.
