My bus passion goes far beyond preservation. For me, it’s a commitment and responsibility coming from my heart. It all started when I was a little tot when my Aunt Elmira took me to Macy’s Herald Square in New York City. There were all these school buses with cat eyes moving and forth at the top in the middle. As a tot, it doesn’t take much for anything catching one’s attention. At that very moment, I picked up the school bus unknowingly to my Aunt. As my Aunt was preparing to leave Macy’s, she noticed that I had one of the school buses in my hand, and she told me a stern voice to put the bus back. Of course her plan didn’t work. My Aunt tried to take the school bus from my hand, but couldn’t as I held onto that school bus for dear life with a determined grip with a bus vision. To say the least, my Aunt was forced to buy that school bus, and my ambition for buses simply took off after that. But there’s a connection, Macy’s opened the door to my bus passion, but also presently became my employer, which I have been working for 36 Years in New York City Corporate.

But where did my bus passion follow? It was Greyhound Bus Lines with the stretched hound that captured my attention. You see, I am fond of animals, so it was that love and Greyhound combined together that lead me wanting to know more about buses. Remember I said responsibility that became the initiative in me. For that reason and purpose, I joined as a member of the Museum of Bus Transportation, and the rest is bus history continuous.

The night being the sleep
A mind being clear and the mission to sleep deep
Dreams will come into sub-conscious
I guess the coming of tomorrow being anxious
But what will the next day be?
However, will a person wake up to see?
Now before a person even sleeps, let us pray
That’s what will carry one being the relay
It’s not a test being a competitive race

While on vacation travelling Cross Country on a Hound Bus
I wanted to see the America’s countryside without the fuss
I reclined in my seat and just relaxed
I left all my stress behind and the feeling from being perplexed
My window seat being a moving postcard
It was scenery upon scenery
The Hound Bus made numerous stops along the way
But for me, this was a nice getaway
But there was more to this trip
It goes far beyond any rain drip
The Hound Bus stopped in a town called “DESERT WIND”
This is where our journey begins
It was in that Ghost Town of DESERT WIND, Arizona where the tumbleweed were flying everywhere, shutters were hitting against the wooden homes, the desert wind was kicking up the desert sand, but there were no dwellers in the town
The sunrise was starting to reflect a new horizon
A passenger boarded and the Hound bus proceeded on
We were back on the road where we belonged
But a wonder often enters my mind
Were there spirits that formulated the Ghost Town with eerie moments?
We will never know
But it goes to show
Ghost Towns could very well exist
But it adds a certain mystery twist.

Positive words in getting the motivating experience across

February is destinated as Black History Month
This is the time to think back on Afro-American strides
Innovations in they provide
It goes beyond the struggles of slavery
But what follows is pure bravery
Afro-Americans forefathers having the theory of understanding and devoted wit
Education was a solid it
Sunrise to sundown
Afro-Americans would often read a book when the Slave Master wasn’t around
There was reading being the sound
Sometimes Afro-Americans were caught
There were racial barriers becoming a fought
But through it all Afro-Americans saw
It was initiative seeing a wrong
There were many biblical songs
Yet it was a battle that lasted long or not
It was the opposition planning a plot
Afro-Americans were determined to be free
Eyes of Heaven Looked down and they were guided by Thee
Multitudes upon Multitudes
Oh the thought of solitude
It all surrounded by fate
Later came a constitution that ended the slave date
Afro-Americans were finally freed being the slate
What do Dr. Martin Luther King, Medgar Evers and Malcolm X have in common?
Plain and simple, Civil Rights and togetherness among all races of people
I wasn’t a simple matter
Yet there was plenty of negative shatter
But eyes were opened beyond the shades
It was not strides that were made
Afro-Americans contributed inventions upon inventions having a mention
George Washington Carver in the peanut for oil
That is just one, but there were numerous inventions from others
Even though the opposition said “NO”
Afro-Americans made their point being all systems go
Determination had an agenda of persuasion
Illustration was a call to order being participation
So young people today should always stride to educate themselves
This is their chance in opportunity and bringing forth unity
The young people are tomorrow’s future of presenting their own selves
Excel and acceleration being there tell
Their enthusiasm having a sell
However, I weep in my heart and soul
We seem to be going back in time
A venture with a sublime
However, my heart seems to bleed
Will Afro-Americans still be able to proceed?
What’s behind the door being an unknown?
Yet our legacy of the past gave us understanding being shown
However, we can’t just relish on the past, but I will leave that alone
Instead, we should move forward and take what we learned from the past and make it our future to extend on
We need to see the ocean beyond the shore
Yet venture out on the waters being our explore
Tomorrow is today
Whatever situation that comes our way, we are prepared, and that is ok
At least we can say, “Achievement will always stand regardless. There must be trust among us. Yesterday was only a reminder. But Afro-Americans have God in their corner”.

As I walk through the streets, it’s words that follow me
Observations that surround me give me inspiration

Enter the house if you dare
This is a warning in beware
A very poky house
The only movement is a mouse
Now that you turned the doorknob

Hackers want to hook on your cookies
All computers are at risk
The Hackers have this as their twist
But the computer user must always be alert
A computer virus that’s a hardware hurt
Be careful in how you open files
As surfing the web while
Don’t respond to emails if the person you are not sure
Delete would be the perfect score
Remember, Hackers watch everything you do on your computer
So be computer safe
But don’t leave your files unsafe
I wanted to put you in the know
Let my advice be your show
So in case you get a Hacker attack, you will know how to fight back.

Showers of Justice pour within the White House
Evil within lurks
The President takes it as a perk
Obstruction is the White House forming construction
It’s answers needed in the Russia probe
It’s the fake media being the blame in suppose
Testimonies seemingly with some facts left out
The Republicans are responding with their own shout
Yet the Democrats are looked upon like they don’t know what they are talking about
The President can’t even see his way out
It’s blame at every name
His Presidency he wants to remain
However Justice is getting close
The White House Administration can’t take it so they boast
The world looks on and is amazed
This is another Watergate phrase
It’s food for understanding being the craze
Everyone expresses an opinion
But no one illustrates the actual conclusion
Yet it is truth that is the fact
The Legal Counsel is seeing to that
However, the White House is right in the smack
The Legal Counsel is actually staying on track
It’s as if shades have been put over the White House in not wanting the public to see
But Justice is staying strong and the focus in where it belongs
The moment of truth will soon arrive
It could very well be at five
The President thinks otherwise
But no one is going for his jive
White House just face it

My name is Abigail
I live life alone
My Parents are unknown
I am not famous
I have no fortunes
I am often abused on these mean streets
I have no place to run to retreat
I am poor
The streets are all that I know
I steal to eat for food
People think I am worth nothing
I never had a husband and never knew love of a boyfriend
Thinking back with having a life I could never take back
My teats are starting to fall

I don’t dwell on self-pity

Faith is all that I have

It will be that Hospital stay
Laboratory test that could last the whole day
Yet the Doctors will have their last say
There will be times when the Patient will need the bedpan
It’s always nature calling in demand
The bedpan helps when the Patient can’t get to the restroom
Nature is immediately taken care of on the moment of soon
This will be a flush out
But relieve in what the Patient will be talking about
The Nurses will do there normal routine
The Patient will be put on a restricted diet that will be totally lean
A Patient might think that is being mean
The bedpan available is when the Patient needs to go
A nature revelation being the flow
It’s nature in the know
Yet being attention in the Patient’s own show
Yes the bedpan and the Patient giving each other movement advice
However, it comes with timing having no need to think twice.
