I first met her from far away
A cute, simple smile
and an easy gesture

Intrigued in her conversation
She turned her back and said
"Hello"
She was unlike anyone i ever met.
Short and Stubby with curly hair
She was the type to become your friend
But she was sweet and nice and always cared.

When my heads hits the pillow
And I count sheep by 1 2 3
But the sleep has grown weary
And the crickets stopped playing
And I haven't awoken

Summer has arrived
Winter has left
Time to enjoy the season that is left
Hang by the pool
Soak up the sun
I have no idea what's going on

Today I awoke
With a smile on my face
I was happy
Which comes as a surprise
Next I washed my sadness away
Washing away grey and black
Replacing it with a yellow glittery smile

Everyday is the same
Fake smiles and laughs
Dreading each day
Waiting for it to come to an end
Tick Tock
The clock won’t stop

Sadness is covered in black and grey
It happens when I'm alone or miss someone
It sounds like buildings crashing on eachother
And smells like a dying fire
