She staggers
Broken
•
Lost child in a daze of pain
///
I strum on my guitar and words of wonder
Surround me
I sing a song that she might ride forever
In happiness
But she will never hear it
••
She is broken
She hangs with the broken people
Thinking they might heal her
////
She is so full of sorrow
Seeking solace by feeling sorry
For what she has done to others
In her broken state
••
No one even knows what she means
////
She builds a wall around herself
And runs into it
Soon she is too numb to feel a thing
And this she calls peace
••
Sometimes I see her staring at me
Pleading
Begging for my love
••
I sit and strum my guitar
I sit with open heart
I write a song for her
But she is never listening
///
She's a kid like me
////
Tomorrow will come
