A blessing

You offer up your lips,

Pour them over me,

Like libation,

 

And whisper

a silent prayer

Across mine,

 

And I

Bathe in their glory.

 

How honored I am

To know

The chapped, raw flesh -  

 

Oh how blessed

To know their taste.
