Acid Loves Mercury
Poems
Dec 2014
Small Fields
Simple wheat
Grows in
Spanning far beyond
As the eye sees
Blanketing,
Like a golden snow
Rich in color
A show of life
A reaper works
Swinging scythe
Toils in to view
And cuts deeply
A harsh work
With long days
Bringing death
So life can continue
Feeding bellies
Bringing smiles
To rounded cheeks
So life goes on
