Counterfeit Heart
a counterfeit heart never lasts
the currency of it is fake
without the proper watermark
chances are it will of you forsake
who wants a guy
bearing this kind of trait
there is no value
in his heart's dollar rate
the forgery can be detected
over a period of time
that old note won't
cede one single dime
a gal needs surety
in the cash she's receiving
for if it's not genuine
love will be so unbelieving
a counterfeit heart
a counterfeit heart
gals can't endure
a counterfeit heart
