I know the place I want to be,
wrapped up in your arms
Where I fit so perfectly
Safe from all worldly harm

At least that’s what I once thought
but the years have taught me different
so many bitter battles fought...
I suppose my love wasn’t sufficient

I know the place I want to be,
forever in your view
where your gaze washes over me
like the sea, refreshing through and through

At least that’s what I once thought
but the dawn has taught me different
It brought the light, and you’ve been caught
revealing your lies, so incoherent

I knew the place I wanted to be
but now I know it’s wrong
you never really loved me...
*Now where do I belong?
