I want to write poems like scented candles
and turn the entire room into something else
I want to be able to move you to tears
just by what i'm saying

I want to describe a flower in a way you can see it
and smell or touch it if you please
I want you to be able to read your misery or heart desires
into the words about mine

I want to fill you with my emotions
Be happy, be sad, think that the world's incredible!
Wonder about my life for a while
And never stop reading my words
