I know it isn't possible,
yet I still find myself
watching shadows
with extra care,
daring them to twitch,
all but convinced that
something unexplainable
and unimaginable
will happen before my eyes.
Maybe I've gone mad,
and need some magic pills
or maybe I just question
reality a bit more
and dare it to prove
the whole world wrong.
