There was a girl I knew once with an honest name
her name was River n' we flew to Spain
We talked all through the night
n' we were both writers/to our delight --
n' we laughed, and cried
during the whole ****
flight...
I got to know her very well
she was a mystic
that could cast a spell
on anyone
with sunshine laughter/that rang like bells
I wish I could find that girl named River once again...
I'd thank her
as a friend...
She got lost during flight...
somewhere between dawn n' night
I turned around, and she was gone...
she was a treasure/an unheard song
the kind you want to hear /all night long

That girl named River/ she was me...
I buried her that night /in the Sea.
