I think you could teach me what I forgot
Or maybe it’s just that I never knew how
I don’t know if you’d take the chance
On love that needs time instead of right now

I’ve been trying to lose my pride
But it keeps finding its way back home
It’s a feeling I don’t miss when it’s gone
But it’s something that can’t live on its own

I wonder if could do it
Would you risk another vow?
Is it good enough that I want to love again
For you to show me how?

There’s the right way to feel
And the right way to care
I just want to know
What’s the right way to share?

I’ve been going down my own road
I’m not lost but I haven’t been found
We’re both heading in the same direction
But are we walking on the same ground?

I wonder if could do it
Would you risk another vow?
Is it good enough that I want to love again
For you to show me how?
