"Break your neck,
And I will love you.
Like a bird that cannot fly."
I don't know why this resonates with me so much.
What does that say about me?

I wish it had been like this with us.
I didn't break my neck,
You did.
You broke both of our necks.
I guess I let you.
And now neither of us can fly
And we will starve to death,
Because neither of us can leave the nest for food.
Just waiting for the other to die
So we can have a different kind of nourishment.

You died first.
What does that say about me?
