I have one wish,
and one only that carries any worth.

I wish to be found by you,
and yet I know that it's not
your desire.

Were you to appear at the door
Of my slightly ****** room,
it would be disappointing to
you I fear....I know.

Id not be the man you're seeking,
Never have been,
and never will be.

I will always be your friend,
will always be happy to cook
Chocolate chip pancakes for you.

But I suppose that I have to accept
that we will never be anything
but a dream.

You have your life
and I have mine.
