You chew me to bits and then
spit out the pips and
if that's not enough,you
stuff your mouth full of lies,
is it any surprise to you that
we're through.

I'll go off under my own steam but
don't take that to mean
it's been fun.
Our time in the sunlight
rapidly turned to a dark night,
I got scorched,now need a torch to
see my way into the tomorrow
of another day.
