Your eyes
Your smile
The way you smell
The way you feel

The way you kiss . . .

It all leaves me in a race with myself.

My heart races faster and faster
My mind feels like each thought is trying to beat the next
My stomach is tumbling
My knees are weak with adrenaline and endorphins coursing through my veins

The first glimpse of you induces utter joy
Locking eyes with you sets the butterflies in motion
Our hands together center me
And your arms around me like a cloak shield me from all the bad

Leaving you is painful
Missing you is like death

All I can think of is you.
All I can dream of is you.
All I want is you.

Iā€™m stuck
Useless
Forgetful
Elated
Melancholy
Infatuated
Besotted
And completely
Head over heels
Enamored with you.
