The sun made its lowly appearance
A vague attempt at light
On another dull day
The blow of the wind caught my breath
Chilled my skin and led my mood
I pondered

My mirror that never lies
Caught me weeping
A reflection of my life
For I was wounded
These failings cut deep
Painful
Sad
Lonely

Mesmerized I stared
Waited for the passing
Waited for the normality of life
My cloth sodden arms wipes the look
The mirror faded
So comes the return
Of
Just another day
