little billy badger he was having fun
playing in a field in the summer sun
then he heard a yell from behind a tree
badger he got closer to see it what it could be

there he saw  a rabbit very stuck was he
trapped inside a hole at the bottom of the tree
dont worry said the badger i will set you free.

badger used his teeth and chewed around the tree
till the hole was big enough to set the rabbit free
rabbit he jumped out he was free one more
free to roam around again like he did before.

rabbit  thanked the badger for all that he had done
and played away together beneath the summer sun
