A portal which penetrates deepest thoughts,
secrets desires and fantasies
is clouded, trying to remember what was said
what was done ...

She sleeps peacefully, unaware,
as he peeks over to look at her loveliness
pondering these thoughts as he sits in a chair
in the corner of the room ...

The magic in the room brought on
warm love from the night before.
Soon she will awaken with thoughts
of her own, will she stay? will she want
his arms once again,
will they have charm and magic one more
time ...

The day was breaking, coffee was brewing
with cobwebs still lingering, he opens the blinds
to let sunshine in, she appears and smiles
with clothes in hands, slowly getting dressed
'what a beauty she is', he thinks;
as she walks out the door,
throwing a gentle kiss and wondering...

'One day, she will look at me', he thinks,
'and love me' ...

'One day, he will look at me', she thinks,
'and love me' ...
