A tree is not jealous
No envy toward others
It chases the light
And sleeps without covers
It grows for itself
It grows to survive
But hide it from light
And I know it will die

Some trees are big
Some trees are small
As time creeps up
They grow so tall
They sleep without covers
And chase the light
No envy toward other
A tree is not jealous
Trees are not jealous of bigger/prettier trees
