I wished hard and strong
It seemed like a dream lasting so long
So I wished on a star
My wish I hope will go far
I wondered more
My mind was focused in not being sure
A hoping approach
It might seem like so joke
My wish was the essence of long life
Perhaps a little more just like spice
But sometimes we don’t always get our strive
It’s not impossible to ask
But it is a thought you don’t let pass
Everlasting life is something that comes from above
It makes you think of a soaring dove
Yet it is beyond the stars to think of
Spirit that is far away
A man too whom I give praise every day
A wish that is in the almighty hands
It’s a vision at his command
It comes down to being a believer in the Savior’s caravan.
