Mostly, I'm just mad today.
Sad, because I don't want to live among all this pain.
Crying, because I don't know if I can ever protect all of us
from the rain.

Mad because I cannot live a life more plain.
I've got to travel in the other direction.
On the road again,
I have to strive for perfection,
to benefit my fellow man.
If it means I learned a lesson,
call it what you will.
I just hope my voice is a blessing,
and does nothing for your heart but heal.
