Quit, believe those sad tales about dads.
Many women knew that the man wasn't no good when you met him.

Dad, that man.
That man most boys hope to be compared too later in life.
The man that loved mom.
Protected her from harm.
Kept the children's in line.
Yes , that man.

Dad, who mostly taught sports to the child.
Dad, the one teaching the child's to ride that bicycle.
Especially, without training wheels.
Who inspired confidence?

The man, we ran too, when thunder roared through the sky.
Many times they knew it would happen when lighting shined.
Dad, who would discipline you?
Or would he?
Many times depending on the crime.
He pretended too.
While in the process pretending to spank you.

In away.
You knew mom didn't think it happen.
But she went along with the  scheme.

Dad, wasn't afraid to correct you in public.
Quick like mom to say, you was his children.
And you was to act approximately.

Act up in church.
You knew what blessings was coming?
Embarrass them.
As in adulthood, they would embarrass you too.

Dad, who probably get told, I love you less?
Least compared to mom.
Will forever be apart of us.
