Elders from ancient times
Gifted with hardy skin
And cleansing hands.
They tower above to scrape at wisps of floating rivers.
Their sentinelΒ Β gaze watches over horizons we have yet to behold.
Guardians,
From unseen omnipotent forces,
Shelters
For weak and humbled.
