Sunset red glows
Sunset red glows yesterday
my breast fills as I see,
fill me, life's destiny.
I sigh an immense perfect show
and, praise, I do,
the crimson hues,
and sing of victories past
in the golden vast sphere of natural,
like every animal every
beast made, even me
in the midst of decay
I sing the song of old age
in the breath of last depths
I ask for one last view
of the sunset's crimson hues.
