Fresh but bright, I remember the day,
I thought that feeling would never go away,
Looking at my own face with a bold new arrival,
An unforgettable smile confirmed my survival.

A girl, a feeling: the world is healing,
All my ailments make their way to the shadows,
Just live my child you have my permission,
Think not about your unfortunate condition.

I had my chance and it went the same way as every other day,
Only now that it's gone does it seem so appealing,
I must admit in truth I've forgotten the feeling,
Of satisfaction, interaction as I'm made to rue the view from the top of the mountain.
