On occasion I'll look over
only to find you already gazing
right back at me.

"What are you looking at?"
                                 I'll question,
getting shy under your gaze,
afraid your scrutiny will unveil
all the flaws I hope you never see.

You always say something most
flattering in return, such as,
          "only the most beautiful girl
                       in all the world."

And sometimes,
                 sometimes,
you'll ask me,
                "why are you so beautiful?"
And I always,
                always
reply back,
               "for you, sir."

And it's true, for you see,
       it seems I have fallen
                quite
         madly
                      in
             love
                with you, my sir.
