The air is thick in this town.
And you said, you didn't see the stars for all of the dark.
And I said, I was blinded by light when you were near me,
Not all the stars are in the skies.

But the air is thick in this town,
And you, glimmering went to find other skies to lie beneath.
And I am lost
In this dark.
