I’m finding it harder to write now
When the words once leapt on screen
Now the flow’s slowed to a trickle
A pale version of it’s former gleam

I once wrote this was my lifesblood
And if this were to be true
I find my strength depleting
Just barely able to scrape through

Can you sense I’m passing
From this world into the next
Cause of death: Exsanguination
Due to scarcity of text
