Oct 2010
Sweet warmth rains down after the dew of first light
Here with you, I am silently alone
The love which guided us all through our night
Allowed our sun to arrive
Quietly, unbeknown

Flickers of tenderness mesh with the drying of dew
On a story that is ending to soon
Yet, I smile in the knowing, again, I will hold you
Tonight, under the face
Of our moon

I slip softly to our window to drink in the rays
Feel your presence, next to my own
We smile in the sweet warmth felt in a new day
Yet cannot wait, for this light
To be gone
