Reuniting
You said you wish that I remain near you.
You asked for forgiveness,
and admitted it was stupid
to tell me to stay away.
You said
that when I’m not around,
you don’t feel happy.
That we have a connection.
I told you
I wanted to stay away from you,
and you asked why,
you couldn’t understand my reasons.
You admitted that
you can’t forget me,
and I
told you the same.
