I lay my head to sleep
and ask the murmurs from the deep
that if I die before I wake,
I pray the world will learn to take
a look at what most think is gold
and what the foolish strive to hold...

With hope a soul can turn away
and drop the leash leading astray...
To those who need a helping hand, if you don't mind, I'll try to stand
and break the chain, shatter the glass,
just find me where the sand meets grass.
