Is it safe?* I ask
You said yes. Don't be scared, just try.
I took a leap
I fell through
Never to see you again
I fell through  a crack in my foundation
The foundation I thought you were standing on
but really you were floating...
And you watched me fall
You weren't my angel
                     you were my demon
*The demon I saw smiling at me
I saw a demon once. But the one I'm talking of in this poem deceived me in a dream. I trusted him, his beauty was so strong. But I could almost see that he was almost just as empty and alone. That's why I trusted him in my dream.
