My mind has been caged for so long,
my soul longing to escape it's grip,
my ribs are breaking open,
my heart will never quit.

My lungs have found the air again,
my bones no longer stiff,
my muscles have begun to stretch,
my fingers are fully equipped.

My words begin to flow again,
like rain clouds breaking the drought,
i'll dance in the thunderstorm of emotion,
as my thoughts come pouring out.
