Mystery
Mind numbing continues
Heart wrenching resumes
Content living ceases
It'll all end well,
"How?" they ask
It's a mystery.
Love perished
Throat parched
Hands empty
It'll all end well,
"How?" they ask,
It's a mystery.
Eyes were closed
Head held high
Took a deep breath
And put on a smile
*It did end well,
"How?" we ask,
It still remains a mystery.
Italic words plagiarised from Shakespeare in Love.
