Don't slip away;
I know you're dismayed,
I've been down that road
don't follow the same
my dearest friend,
I cannot dispute,
my life would end,
if I were without you
what would make you decide,
that an eternity of night
would be worth taking your life?
don't make that mistake darling,
its not too late
don't let me ever hear you say
the sun won't rise
tomorrow is a brand new day,
so let's spend tonight
like it's the last day of our lives
