there was a little cat  he took a holiday
across the ocean blue to the USA
visiting the sites on his little trip
he was rather cool and very very hip
visiting the disco getting in the groove
doing twist and spins he could really move
a proper john travolta  in his suit so white
dancing there for hours  dancing through the night
people gathered round amazed at what they saw
clapping very loud shouting out for more
a  proper dancing star from so far away
dancing in America in the USA
he had lots of fun on his holiday
and vowed he would return to dance another day
