Fearful of grave loss
   frightened of dusk,
  her tenebrous lash

    Hope? Never Again
    Life? Her disregarded choice
    The light unable to overcome
   the ingrained ink


      Her gentle visage buried in grief
     fallen eyes
     Linger till the light returns
