I haven’t been seen in space
and cannot be seen on faces
Because I dictate the pace in races
And stand distinct in places

Am not seen when dressed up
Neither I’m I seen on make-ups
But I’m the peace that men hold
Not what they tend to behold

Although silent, I’m heard aloud
And often I’m hidden but seen around
I’ve stayed up high as lighter
Shining only always brighter

I’m beauty not on the outside
But that right on the inside
I’m therefore beautiful,
Because I’ve got character
