Running  from the rain hiding in the dark
Turning from responsibility
Irking those who love me most
Seeking solitude  yet speaking boast

A lonely world for the dark
Cold and quiet kept apart
Seen as lepers through bloodshot eyes
But my skin does not bear my colors

Imagine rainbows and fields of gold
Holding secrets of the bold
Keeping them in barren cold
Hiding between each earthen fold
