Before September ends
I with all I have
will give credence
to my deepest love

If not now then never
so I will be brave
and maybe have faith
in the art I love

Passion of words
will pave my way
to the dimming of days
and the glitter of winters stars

So before Septembers end
I will be poet friends
may the kind cheer me on
as I strive to be loved

Poetry the flight of fancies
the heart within honest hearts
glory to poetry
and all that with love, pen great works
