Father dear Father
Father dear Father
Your music played on the radio
No words from these lips
I remembered the sunshine in your smile
A laugh that had me out
All gone down
A memory bliss
Father dear Father
The clouds were light, fluffy and soft
My grasp reaching to a faded hand
The sky blue gave me a lift
Till I looked over
Then I was sad
So lonely
Father dear Father
It's been a while yet still I pain
Still I want another chance
Another breath
My vision blurred by watered eyes
This cry
Your long long sleep
