On mountain top she wails and weeps
bringing torrents of tears crystal cold
she has lost her only love
to a war that has filled all with tears

Down mountain steep they run
misery babbling in whispers
the trickles of loss and dismay
past cites where the lonely lay

Echo's in images is all she has left
the smile she had now imprisoned
a cell of her own making
an epitaph to lost love
