If only for a summer of solitude
for the crisp cold air of mountain streams
I would lay there in lush green grass
serenaded in blue skies, in a waking dream

Here in this scented field of bliss
where daffodils that do angels kiss
and mother earth hugs you
and tells you of your worth
I would love to dwell
yet I am convicted to Hell
