Dec 2013
In rag tag clothes, they play on derelict streets
with little toes poking from old shoes on their feet
and when the sky does dim, another day older
some other poor kid will comfort them
let them cry on their shoulder and play mother

Little arms around each other
care not do their mothers
for the drink and drugs
have given these children little of mothers love
and when justice comes Gods forgive them
