A tender heart held inside a rugged frame
You have quietly locked away
Inside a heart shaped box with fail proof locks
No one can ever break away

You float along a perfect sea of mirrored glass
No rushing waves toss you about
Smoothly gliding through your life alone
Yet I hear your heartbeat shout

I see your haunted eyes secretly peering out
When you do not know Iā€™m there
Seeking ways to get inside your heart shaped box
To let you know how much I care

How I wish you knew that I was standing here
Holding your box's master key
That your tender heart need not be locked away
If you would place your trust in me
