a star shone over bethlehem on a holy night
lighting up a stable so very very bright
there inside a baby sleeping in the hay
born to all mankind and gave us christmas day
a birthday we all share thats filled with lots of joy
that brings  lots of happiness to every girl and boy
we thank the little boy lying in the hay
this special little child who gave us christmas day
